Pixon's Day Out

According to the reports and a press release this handset is the world’s slimmest full-touch 8-megapixel camera phone.

well features doesn't lie only in slim nature, but its many many things that make the phone among the tops.

The Pixon has a 3.2-inch WQVGA touch screen display and features that include x16 digital zoom, auto-focus, fast-shutter, face detection and geo-tagging since it comes with internal GPS. Other features include a media player that supports Samsung's DNSe for audio, an FM radio, Bluetooth with A2DP and microSD card support for external memory(internal Memory is around 200MB)

But the real highlight here is the 8-megapixel camera which is set to have wide dynamic range, face detection, advanced shake reduction and smile shot

For shooting video, the phone boasts 30fps at resolutions of 720 x 480 and 120fps in QGVA high quality recording mode.

There's no tie-up with DivX or Dolby for this model, unlike LG's baby, but it will play DivX video as well as MPEG4, WMV and XviD files.

Connectivity-wise, the Pixon is a GSM, GPRS, EDGE, quad-band phone, with HSDPA at 7.2Mbps (so the same as the Renoir).

You also get Bluetooth 2.0 and USB 2.0, a TV out connection (same as the Renoir), 200MB of internal memory and compatibility with microSD cards.

The handset also has a dedicated website called - The Photographic Adventures of Nick
Turpin.

when will this be available. have an issue with slim phone though. I am using the motorola L7 and the slim feature frustrates me sometimes...it always gets in the bottom of my bag (is that good?). It take me minutes to answer the phone..:P
